By means of our project, based on the Knuffle Bunny trilogy, our bilingual students had contact with one of the most respected authors worldwide: Mo Willems. So they made their own Knuffle Bunny, with our school places and our mascots Penny and Denny. The children learned to name the places and objects of the school and also to describe them, using adjectives such as big, small, on, off, loud, low, heavy, light, full, empty, new, old, clean, dirty, fast , slow, soft, hard, beautiful, ugly etc. Good job, kids!

Our students will be giving their mommies beautiful cards in English!!

Our Kids III students have learned about animals, based on Eric Carle’s book “Does a kangaroo have a mother too?”. With a series of activities to practice vocabulary, students went to the “Possibilities’ room” to draw the animals from the book and their respective babies. During the activity, students were encouraged to speak the content in English to practice the vocabulary in a fun way. Good job, kids!

Os alunos do Kids III estão aprendendo sobre os animais, com base na leitura do livro “Does a kangaroo have a mother too?”, do autor Eric Carle. Com uma série de atividades para praticar o vocabulário, os alunos foram para a Sala de Possibilidades desenhar os animais do livro e seus respectivos bebês. Durante a atividade, os alunos são incentivados a falar o conteúdo trabalhado em inglês, colocando o vocabulário em prática aquilo que estão aprendendo de uma forma lúdica e divertida. Good job, kids!

Immersing in the anglo-american culture, the students of the bilingual classes took part in the Halloween celebration at the school, trick- or-treating and doing other activities regarding this holiday.

Fazendo uma imersão na cultura anglo-americana, os alunos do bilíngue participaram do Halloween na escola brincando de “trick-or- treat” e fazendo outras atividades relacionadas à data.

Today, we have great news to give you all. In the beginning of this month we did here, at Escola Interação, an incredible, delicious and spectacular Cooking Class. Our recipe was a Fruit Salad! Yummy, so delicious!!! This activity was part of a Recipe Collection that we are doing in this second semester and it’s going to be awesome!
